Nominations are now open for our 17th annual Volunteer Awards Ceremony, which aims to recognise and celebrate volunteers in the Falkirk Council area, and the organisations who involve them.
This year’s ceremony will be held on Monday 6th June 2016 at the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel and Spa, Polmont, as part of our Volunteer’s Week celebrations.
Organisations can nominate their volunteers for a general service certificate or Long Service Awards, alongside the Main Award categories:
- Volunteer of the Year
- Volunteer Engaging Organisation
- Provost Lifetime Achievement Award
The event is free with tea, coffee and cake being served. Last year’s ceremony saw over 500 nominations, with over 200 attendees on the night, proving just how much Falkirk appreciates its volunteers’ effort and commitment.
The closing date for nominations, which can be made through our website, is Tuesday 3rd May 2016. We regret that no nominations can be submitted after this date.
