The Vicar’s Relief Fund (VRF) provides small crisis grants throughout the UK to fund activities that assist someone in securing a stable tenancy, such as when an individual is at risk of homelessness, or when someone in temporary accommodation needs help putting together a deposit.
The VRF also makes grants for essential items where this will help someone secure a tenancy. In some instances, they fund Debt Relief Orders/Bankruptcy, where associated with imminent eviction.
Funds are raised through donations to St Martin-in-the-Fields church in London. Grants are usually provided within 1-3 days. The average grant is £250.
