Self Directed Support Forth Valley are looking for a dedicated and dynamic individual to join their team as an SDS Information Officer. In this role, you will be a vital member of a small team, working both hybrid and out in the community to deliver essential information and support about Self-Directed Support (SDS).
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Salary: £25,000 per annum
- Location: Hybrid, Office in Alloa
As an SDS Information Officer, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with individuals, carers, families, and Health and Social Care partners across the Forth Valley area. Your role will be crucial in increasing the number of people who feel informed, confident, and empowered to take control of their social care decisions. Experience in delivering training, support, or guidance will be highly beneficial, as you will be conducting presentations and workshops to develop a comprehensive understanding of people’s rights and options under SDS.

- Driving Essential: A full driving license and access to a car are essential as you will be mobile throughout the Forth Valley area.

- Effective Communicator: You should be skilled in engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including social workers, individuals with lived experiences, and carers.
