Central Scotland Regional Equality Council are looking to recruit an Equality & Engagement Junior Project Officer. This role is funded by the Scottish Government’s Equality & Human Rights Fund, which is managed by Inspiring Scotland.
- Salary: £24,099.39 (£14,023.33 pro rata for 8 months)
- Hours: 35 Hours per week
- Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2025, with the possibility of extension subject to funding
- Hybrid role.
The aims of this post are to deliver the key Scottish Government outcomes for the Equality & Human Rights Fund:
- People have greater awareness and understanding of their human rights, and how to access them.
- People with protected characteristics have increased access to remedies where their rights have not been upheld.
- People with protected characteristics have increased participation in public life.
- Public services increasingly embed equality and human rights in their strategic planning and their day-to-day functions.
