Communities Along the Carron Association [CATCA] is run by a volunteer Management Committee who is committed to the regeneration of the River Carron, its communities and adjacent land. CATCA optimises the mutual benefit of working in formal and informal partnerships with councils, agencies, other groups, stakeholders and funders toward the realisation of the following identified Aims:
- Water Quality/Flow/Wildlife Habitat Enhancement
- Litter and Fly Tipping Clean Ups
- Path Network Development
- Education, Culture and Heritage Projects
- Biodiversity Protection and Enhancement
- Control of Invasive Plant Species along the Carron Corridor
They are seeking a Project Officer to work 37 hours per week (hours flexible) over a 12 month fixed term post. Salary £24,848 per annum (6% pension contribution)
28 days holiday plus 8 public holidays.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who wants to deliver real change and benefits to their communities. Working with a wide range of partners, you will have previous experience of project management, preferably in an educational environmental setting, coupled with excellent organisational and communication skills. Experience of delivering events, conducting consultation exercises and submitting and securing grant funding would be desirable. Some evening, occasional weekend and outdoor working will also be required but this will be accommodated within the working week.
