CAPS Independent Advocacy is recruiting a Collective Agency Worker (Veterans).
The position is 36.25 hours per week, with a salary of £25,778 – £28,533 per annum (starting salary £25,778) and a Scotland-wide remit, based in Edinburgh, with an initial fixed term contract of one year.
CAPS is an independent advocacy organisation (based in Edinburgh but working across Scotland) for people who use, or have used mental health services. They are facilitating Collective Advocacy for veterans across Scotland, and are looking for a proactive collective advocacy worker to gather the views of veterans to help shape the work of the Scottish Veterans Wellbeing Alliance, bringing the voice of lived experience to their work. The successful candidate will ensure veterans’ voices are heard by the Alliance, and encourage them to draw on their experiences and express their views and wishes, to influence and improve the services available to veterans across Scotland.
