Vacancy – Alcohol & Drug Partnership Project Officer
Salary: £26,790 – £29,298 per year
Hours: 37 hours per week, full time, temporary post for 18 months.
Stirling Council is seeking an Alcohol & Drug Partnership Project Officer to assist the Stirling / Clackmannanshire Alcohol & Drug Partnership (ADP) Lead Officer and the FV ADP Co-ordinator to deliver the agreed ADP priorities and outcomes.
You will be educated to degree level or have an equivalent qualification (i.e. Social Work or Nursing degree) and have experience of working in the substance misuse / social care field. You will work across the Clackmannanshire and Stirling areas to promote knowledge, prevention and the best response possible regarding substance misuse issues. The focus will be on enabling services to increase their capacity and competence in responding to substance misuse and the associated issues. Along with excellent written and oral communication skills, you will be able to analyse a wide range of information and also exercise a high level of initiative and use discretion and judgement when dealing with confidential matters. You will have experience of partnership working and have a proven ability to create and maintain effective working relationships.
