The Scottish Government has recently updated the communication materials for Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC), the national approach to children’s wellbeing.
GIRFEC aims to improve outcomes and support the wellbeing of children and young people, by offering the right help at the right time from the right people. It supports them and their parent(s) to work in partnership with the services best suited to their needs.
The communication materials are store on the GIRFEC Communication Toolkit, and shared via the GIRFEC Knowledge Hub. (Please note that the GIRFEC Knowledge Hub is a closed group; Knowledge Hub members can apply for membership of the group, but group members will be able to access the content.) They have also been collected into one resource document.
For further information, please visit the Scottish Government website, where you will find a directory of local authorities and their dedicated GIRFEC page.
