The Stroke Association have announced the UK Stroke Assembly Scotland 2018, on Monday 22nd October, from 9am at the Radisson Blu Hotel, 301 Argyle Street, Glasgow, G2 8DL.
The event aims to bring together those affected by stroke and aphasia to share experiences, hear the latest developments in stroke research, and have their say on issues concerning stroke and those affected. They will be using the hashtag #StrokeAssembly on the day.
There will be talks and workshops delivered by stroke survivors and stroke professionals, an exhibition and lunch. A draft programme is available, focusing on 4 themes:
- Take Action
- Developments in Stroke Care and Research
- Share and Inspire
- Support with Life After Stroke
Please note the programme may be subject to change.
