SAY Women are hosting a FREE one day training workshop on Why Childhood Sexual Abuse is a Housing/Homelessness Issue to support survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
The training will take place on Tuesday 25th August 9.30-4.30pm, Camelon Education Centre, Abercrombie Street, Camelon, Falkirk FK1 4HA.
SAY Women offers safe, supported accommodation and related services for single young women, aged 16 – 25, who are homeless or threatened with homelessness and have disclosed childhood sexual abuse, rape/sexual assault.
This FREE bespoke training, specifically for Housing and secondary support services, aims to increase understanding of the impact of child sexual abuse on survivors’ risk of homelessness and their ability to successfully maintain tenancies.
