To Absent Friends is a festival of storytelling and remembrance across Scotland for those who have passed away, taking place this year Wednesday 1st November – Tuesday 7th November.
The Compassionate Communities team at Strathcarron Hospice is available to support community groups with their events and activities to remember loved ones, during and after the festival. Activities taking place across Forth Valley and North Lanarkshire include snowdrop walks, remembrance trees, bulb planting, and “stovies and stories” sessions.
For further information on the support available, please visit the To Absent Friends website, or contact the Compassionate Communities team by email: fv.compassionatecommunities@nhs.scot
