Community Justice Scotland, in partnership with Scottish Government, is exploring the provision of non-statutory, voluntary throughcare and mentoring services across Scotland for individuals serving short-term prison sentences of up to 4 years.
Further research and engagement are now underway, with a number of roundtable discussions facilitated by IRISS, which will take place in Inverness, Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh and online. These sessions will go into greater depth on key questions and collectively identify what the future of voluntary throughcare could look like.
The events will take place:
