Falkirk Community Planning Partnership (Falkirk CPP) will soon create the “Falkirk Plan”, a 10 year plan that will detail the priorities of our local communities, including poverty and in equalities. The views of local people are a crucial part in identifying what these priorities are and shaping the Plan.
Falkirk CPP are currently seeking to gather the views of those who live in our communities and have first-hand knowledge of the challenges being faced, and the support that could help individuals and families to overcome these challenges. They have previously spoken with local communities and groups and people who have a disability.
They are now particularly looking for the views and perspectives of people from ethnic minority communities.
They are especially hoping to learn more about the additional and unique issues and challenges people from these communities have experienced (which can include access to employment opportunities and social isolation, amongst others).
They will host an online meeting on Thursday 10th June, 7pm – 9pm, for this purpose.
