The Dolphin Club are looking for volunteers aged 16 and over to help support their swimming group. The Dolphin Club provides swimming sessions dedicated to people with special needs, physical disability or anyone recovering from illnesses such as a stroke, injury, or arthritis. There is no age limitation – group members range from children to older people.
Volunteer helpers are required to aid service users. They can assist swimmers with disabilities or special needs, on a one-to-one basis or by coaching from the side.
It is not necessary to be an expert swimmer, but patience and empathy with the service users is paramount.
This opportunity takes place in Grangemouth Sports Complex every 2nd Saturday night 5-6pm.
