The Circle Academy’s Cohort 6, funded by Scottish Government, is now drawing to a close, and will finish with a virtual pitch contest on Thursday 9th June, 3pm – 5pm. This year, The Circle Academy has opened the contest to members of the public, with free places available.
Finalist candidates from the cohort will talk about their projects for 3 minutes, pitching in front of the event audience, and a judging panel, for the chance to win a small amount of funding for their work (raised by previous online donations). The panel will then determine the winner.
The event is designed as an opportunity to hear from up and coming social entrepreneurs, whose projects hope to make an impact in local communities, Scotland and beyond. Those who cannot attend are welcome to donate to the final funding prize, which will be match-funded by The Circle Academy.
