Our team at CVS Falkirk and Volunteer Falkirk would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone at yesterday’s second Picnic in the Park and helped us celebrate Volunteers’ Week 2023 in style!

We hope all our guests had as an amazing time as we did, and that we were able to show you how much you’re appreciated and valued here in Falkirk District.

A very special thank you must go to the Glee Club of Westquarter Primary School who came along to entertain our guests with some fantastic singing, and even some acrobatics! We all loved having you, and getting to see young volunteering in such a fun way.

Thanks also go to those who helped us put on the event:

the Rainbow Muslim Women’s Group, who provided the delicious samosas, handmade that very morning
Marshall’s Family Bakery for the wonderful selection of rolls
the community team at Tesco Redding, and at Bookers, who donated refreshments
Elaine and Stef at Falkirk Delivers, who allowed us to borrow their excellent gazebos again
Falkirk Leisure and Culture and the Callendar House team, for our beautiful venue right in the heart of Falkirk
