The Teapot Trust is holding their free online conference, “Sharing Expertise” on Thursday 25th March, 10am – 3pm.
The Teapot Trust provides a programme of art therapy across the UK, supporting children and young people living with chronic conditions, and their families. The conference has been designed to share the Trust’s learnings – both of their ongoing art therapy services, and their adaptions for online working during the pandemic – to support and benefit other charities and organisations working with young people, with the overall theme of collaboration within the context of mental health.
The conference will include:
- art therapists from the Teapot Trust sharing insights, learnings and case studies from moving their art therapy online last March
- learnings from working in partnership with WHALE Arts to meet needs of young people with long term conditions, with a focus on overcoming some initial set-backs and how collaborative working was key to ensuring the work was of value to participants
- tips from art therapists on how parents and carers can support their young people to get the best out of online sessions
The full programme (with times and session details) is available to view or download as a pdf document.
