Central Advocacy Partners has launched the newly-funded Survivors’ Advocacy Project for women who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse.
Building upon the pilot, which ran for 3 consecutive years, the current project aims to deliver a high-quality, independent advocacy service and an evidence-based, person-centred groupwork programme.
Using Central Advocacy Partners’ relationship- and strengths-based model of advocacy, the project aims to provide an independent advocacy service to women and girls aged 16 years old or over, who live in the Forth Valley area and who identify as, or have been diagnosed with, a learning disability, learning difficulties and/or autism.
