The 20th Anniversary SURF Awards for Best Practice in Community Regeneration are now open for nominations and applications.
Scotland’s Regeneration Forum’s (SURF) annual awards process is delivered in partnership with Scottish Government, with 5 award categories:
- Scotland’s Most Improved Place
- Housing
- Creative Regeneration
- Youth Employability: Overcoming Barriers
- Community Led Regeneration
The Awards are open to all community regeneration projects in Scotland currently in place or that have been completed within 2 years of the closing date. They aim to:
- recognise and reward best practice and innovationin community regeneration
- promote and disseminate best practice across Scotland as means of sharing knowledge and experience (enhancing future policy and practice)
- highlight the role that regeneration projects have in improving the wellbeing of individuals and communities
The deadline for applications and nominations is 5pm on Monday 17th September.
