Support Volunteers

Cosy Wee Tours is a Supported Holidays Club providing support and guidance to people who do not have the confidence or the ability to go on holiday by themselves. They are currently looking for Support Volunteers to assist them in their goal of enabling people to go holidays of their choice.

Club members have the opportunity to meet at least once a month, taking part in a social outing or a day tour, where the volunteers’ assistance is required.

Google Digital Garage Bus

Link Living are hosting the Google Digital Garage Bus on Friday 30th November, 9:30am – 2pm at the Link Academy, McKinven House, George Street, Falkirk, FK2 7EY.

Cycling Without Age Pilot Rider Volunteers

Cycling Without Age Scotland are looking to train pilot rider volunteers who offer free rides on special designed bikes called Trishaws to those with limited mobility. These rides aim to help those who feel socially isolated experience the outdoors and get out into their community again.

NHS Forth Valley Community Smoking Prevention Funding

NHS Forth Valley is offering funding for community groups and organisations to develop and deliver ideas on how to prevent people from starting to smoke, or to be smoke free, especially young people. The deadline for applications is 12pm on Wednesday 28th November.

CSREC 2018 Annual General Meeting

The Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC) are holding their 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 15th November, 6pm – 7:30pm at Falkirk Town Hall, West Bridge Street, Falkirk, FK1 5RS. Registration will begin at 5:45pm.
