Strathcarron Hospice is encouraging everyone within the local community to join their Snowdrop Appeal this Spring.
Snowdrop pin badges can be purchased for a donation in some supermarkets and locations across the area over the next few weeks. People can donate online to have a virtual flower to bloom in memory of a loved one on the Strathcarron website.
By donating to the Snowdrop Appeal, people help support the specialist end of life care and services Strathcarron Hospice provides to individuals and their families across Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth.
Mel Duffy , Strathcarron Hospice Community Fundraiser, said:
“The snowdrop, Strathcarron’s symbol, signifies renewal and growth. The first flower to bloom at the end of winter, it signals the beginning of spring, bringing with it a feeling of hope. Show your support for our Snowdrop Appeal this Spring by purchasing a Strathcarron snowdrop pin and wear it with pride, or virtually plant a snowdrop in our online garden and dedicate the flower in memory of a loved one and watch it bloom.
“We would like to thank everyone for their support – every donations helps us with our vital work to support those in need.”
