Strathcarron Hospice is recruiting a Community Development Worker to work in their Compassionate Communities team.

The position is part time, at 32.5 hours per week (25 dedicated to Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership communities, and 7.5 working Forth Valley wide), with a salary of £27,598 – £30,019 per annum pro rata, and a fixed term contract until March 2025.

Applicants should have a high level of creativity, responsibility and self-drive, and love working with people and communities. The successful candidate will work to build relationships with individuals and find out what skills and gifts people have, in order to connect them meaningfully in their own community. They will be based in their own home, with access to office space at Strathcarron Hospice.

The post is subject to a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check by Disclosure Scotland.
