Our team at CVS Falkirk are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
During this time, we will be reflecting on the Queen’s commitment and dedication to such a wide and diverse range of charitable causes over her 70 year reign. The Queen found many ways in which to recognise the outstanding work of charities, through the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services, as well as volunteers through her messages during Volunteers’ Week, and specifically recognising those people who stepped forward to volunteer through the pandemic.
Between them, the Queen and the late Duke of Edinburgh were patrons to over 1,000 charities and groups, who have gone on to make a difference to lives across Scotland and the UK.
On behalf of our staff, our volunteers and our board, we would like to extend our condolences to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
