The Scottish Public Services Ombudsman (SPSO) has published their draft British Sign Language (BSL) Plan, and is looking for input and feedback.
The plan outlines the actions SPSO will take over 2018 – 2023 to improve access to information and services for BSL users. The plan is available in both English and BSL.
Responses received will be used by SPSO to help them develop their final BSL plan. Further details on what they will do with any information given can be found in the plan.
The deadline for responses is Friday 14th September. The plan is available to read, view in BSL or download on the SPSO website.
To submit your response (in writing or through video clips in BSL), please contact SPSO by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Alternatively, response can be sent by post: FREEPOST SPSO (this is all you need to write on the envelope, and you do not need to use a stamp).
BSL users can also contact SPSO via contactSCOTLAND-BSL.
