We are delighted to announce keynote speakers for the 2019 conference on Wednesday 13th February at Alva Academy in Clackmannanshire.
Anna Fowlie, the new Chief Executive of the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), will be speaking on workforce issues faced in the third sector, while in the afternoon Karyn McCluskey, Chief Executive of Community Justice Scotland, will talk about the part communities play in offender repayment.
They will be joined on the day by the Deputy Director for Scotland of the Big Lottery, Neil Ritch, and Paul Reddish, Chief Executive of Project Scotland, along with 12 other leading speakers in their fields, covering a wide range of workshops, all based around this year’s theme: “Growing Your Communities”.
In addition to speakers and workshops, attendees will have access to surgeries from Firstport and the Association of Charity Independent Examiners (ACIE), a panel discussion, marketplace, and lots of networking opportunities.
The conference is open to anyone working or volunteering for third sector organisations or groups across Forth Valley, as well as local partners.
Tickets are £10 each, covering the cost of lunch provided by a local charitable organisation.
