Social Investment Scotland (SIS) offers a range of online business support programmes, which aim to equip social enterprises with the knowledge and skills to grow sustainably, scale and deliver societal and environmental impact.
The programmes currently available include:
An ongoing programme of 90 minute “masterclasses”, designed to provide the tools and skills to develop, shape or amplify a social enterprise’s “retail for change” offering. Topics include the “new customer”, manufacturing, the high street and logistics. The programme is led by Rachael Brown, SIS Associate, and features expert speakers
With a session per month, the next masterclass, “Our High Street”, takes place Thursday 30th June, 10m – 11:30am.

An ongoing programme designed to provide social enterprise leaders, and their boards, with the opportunity to have up to 4 days of 1:1 support with SIS Associates to improve their operations, systems, strategies, and financial projections for growth. Support available includes executive coaching, entrepreneurial experience, data and IT management information, and governance and risk (including support on how to have those conversations with board members).
