The Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival (SMHAF), led by the Mental Health Foundation, will take place Wednesday 4th October – Sunday 22nd October 2023.
This year, the festival explores the theme of “Revolution”, reflecting a desire to confront the impact of economic barriers and social inequality on mental health.
The Mental Health Foundation is looking for groups and organisations from across Scotland to get involved by contributing events to the SMHAF programme, and engage people in their local area. Events can include art exhibitions, creative workshops, performances, live music, film screenings, and discussion events, amongst others – anything that uses the arts or creativity to engage people in mental health themes, and promote good mental health.
Please note that, unfortunately, the Mental Health Foundation is not able to provide funding to support events submitted through the SMHAF open programme.
To request a submission form and guidelines, please contact the SMHAF team by email: smhaf@mentalhealth.org.uk
Alternatively, for further information, visit the SMHAF website.
For support around funding for your SMHAF event or activity in the Falkirk District, contact the CVS Falkirk team by email: info@cvsfalkirk.org.uk
