Social Investment Scotland (SIS), who this year attended Falkirk Funders Fayre as one of our first time funders, have 20 fully funded places (travel and personal expenses not included) at their Retail Academy 2019, based in Falkirk.
The residential training academy takes place Wednesday 29th May – Friday 31st May at the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel, Grange Road, Grangemouth, FK2 0YB, and is open to Scottish social enterprises with products suitable for retail and corporate markets.
The SIS Retail Academy, now in its third year, is for social entrepreneurs looking to scale their impact by accessing significant retail and corporate markets. This year the academy is taking place in the Falkirk area, made possible through the support of Scottish Government and Asda.
The academy aims to inspire and offer practical insight and knowledge, along with the opportunity to meet with retail and corporate buyers who will provide feedback (and who may wish to develop a future buyer-supplier relationship). The programme includes a mix of teaching, expert panels and speakers, store and warehouse visit, keynote speaker and peer-led dinners, and pitching to buyers.
The deadline for applications is Sunday 17th March.
