The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) has launched an online public consultation for people to share their views on the service’s draft Strategic Plan 2022-25.
SFRS’ Strategic Plan details the activities they want to achieve, in order to contribute to the safety and wellbeing of Scottish communities, whilst keeping firefighters safe.
The 7 Outcomes set out within the draft Plan complement the priorities in the Fire and Rescue Framework for Scotland 2022. The Fire and Rescue Framework is developed by Scottish Government, and SFRS’ Strategic Plan has been designed to show how they will deliver against the framework.
They have also developed an aspirational Long-Term Vision, which was shaped by SFRS staff and stakeholders. It sets out the service’s future direction and outlines where they aim to be in 10 years’ time; the Strategic Plan 2022-25 outlines the next stage in that journey.
The deadline for responses to the draft Strategic Plan 2022-25 is Sunday 10th July.
To submit your response, or for further information, please visit the SFRS Citizenspace page.
