Senscot Legal Advice Surgery

CVS Falkirk and District is hosting a Senscot Legal Advice Surgery for third sector and social enterprise organisations on the Tuesday 3^rd February from 10.00am until 4pm at our office, Unit 6, Callendar Business Park, Callendar Road, Falkirk, FK1 1XR.

Third sector and social enterprise organisations / entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to have a 1-2-1 advice session with an expert from Senscot Legal .

The surgery is free to attend, at present there is availability for afternoon time slots starting at 1.30pm.

Penumbra Recovery Worker Vacancies

Penumbra is currently recruiting Recovery Workers in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Falkirk and West Lothian. Depending on the service, hours may include evenings, weekends, sleepovers and waking night shifts, with a wage of £16,752 – £17,343 per annum (pro rata). Blackwood Group Care at Home Support Workers Vacancies

The Blackwood Group are currently recruiting Care at Home Support Workers across Forth Valley. The position is 16 hours or more per week, along with relief posts, with a wage of £8.75 per hour plus benefits. All successful candidates will be required to become a PVG scheme member, as well as register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). The deadline for applications is Friday 28th September.

Black History Month Health and Wellbeing Event

The Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC), in partnership with the Central Scotland African Union (CeSAU), are celebrating Black History Month with an event on Saturday 27th October, 12pm – 4pm. The event will focus on health and wellbeing, and will take place at the Mayfield Community Centre, Sunnybank Road, St Ninians, Stirling, FK7 0DB.
