The Self Management Fund: Working Together to Strengthen Integration is now open for applications.
The fund has £500,000 to invest in third sector-led self management approaches which work to strengthen the Health and Social Care Integration Agenda and work innovatively to overcome some of the barriers to third sector involvement. The fund provides an for third sector and their statutory sector partners to work together over a short period to demonstrate and build capacity for self management approaches to be strengthened in integration partnerships. Organisations can apply for up to £30,000 for 12 – 18 month projects.
To assist with applications, the Health and Social Care Alliance (the ALLIANCE) is holding an information surgery on Friday 8th June, 10am – 3:30pm at the CVS Falkirk office, Callendar Business Park, Callendar Road, Falkirk, FK1 1XR.
Organisations interested in applying to the fund can book a 30 minute slot to ask questions and discuss their ideas and project plans with Emma Goodlad, Grants and Impact Officer at the ALLIANCE.
Emma will discuss the application process with organisations, and help them to identify whether their ideas are a fit for the fund, while offering guidance regarding the key questions and points the grant allocation panel will be looking for.
Key dates for the fund include:
- Deadline for applications: 5pm on Friday 29th June
- Assessments made: July – mid August
- Panel meets to make decisions: late August
- Applicants contacted with outcomes: September
- Projects to begin: Monday 1st October
- Official announcement made: Self Management Awards on Wednesday 3rd October
