Scottish Waterways Trust are currently looking for volunteers to join their organisation in the position of a trustee. They seek people to help shape and deliver their vision, achieve their financial targets and create brighter futures for an increasing number of people and places across Scotland.
Scottish Waterways Trust ask that trustee volunteers have a strong network of influential contacts and an energy for, and commitment to, acting as ambassadors and door openers for Scottish Waterways Trust.
They are interested in hearing from individuals with strong business acumen and a clear understanding of good governance within the third sector. A senior level background within health and social care, particularly CHCP experience, is particularly sought after, as is experience of Volunteer Strategy and Development at a national level. Due to their diversification strategy they are also very interested in individuals with an enterprising, entrepreneurial or corporate background.
This opportunity will take place across Falkirk and Central Scotland. They ask that volunteers give a minimum of 3 years commitment.
