The Scottish Railway Preservation Society are looking for volunteers to become Museum Assistants. Providing access to the Scottish Railway Exhibition is a satisfying experience. The exhibition adjacent to Bo’ness Station provides public access to some of their collection of locomotives, carriages and wagons. The museum is open from April to October and weekends in October. Each year over 15,000 visitors enjoy the exhibition displays.
Museum Assistants do not need railway knowledge. Their role is to welcome visitors and ensure that neither the collection nor its visitors comes to harm. They supply detailed guidance and training on every aspect of this straightforward and rewarding volunteer role.
If you would like further information regarding this opportunity then please contact the Volunteer Team on 01324 692000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
