Scottish Parliament are looking for a creative and flexible individual to join their Outreach Services Team on a part-time basis of 18.5 hours per week with a pro-rata salary range of £12,686 to £15,573.5. This post will be located in Holyrood, Edinburgh.
The Outreach Services team are at the heart of the Parliament’s engagement activities. They work closely with colleagues across the Parliament to reach out to help people have their voice heard on issues that matter to them. As a team, they deliver activities that:
- Educate the people of Scotland as to the role, relevance and work of the Scottish Parliament
- Engage the people of Scotland in the business and non-business work of the Scottish Parliament
- Enhance the status and visibility of Gaelic in the work of the Scottish Parliament
You will have the ability to present to small and large audiences and have well developed time management skills along with experience of contributing to projects and be IT literate. You will be an excellent communicator and able to work collaboratively within and across teams. You will be creative and flexible, with proven organisation skills. As someone who focuses on outcomes, evaluating your work and sharing good practice is something you value. You must be able to work in an environment where impartiality and confidentiality are essential.
