The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) has now published its final Strategic Plan 2019-22.
The plan was completed after public consultation in May 2019; responses can be viewed on the SFRS consultation hub.
Ash Denham MSP, Minister for Community Safety, approved the plan and laid it before the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday 1st October 2019; a short video about the plan (featuring the minister, Chair of the SFRS Board Dr Kirsty Darwent, and Chief Officer Martin Blunden) is available on the SFRS Youtube page.
In light of the national Strategic Plan’s publication, SFRS’ Falkirk and West Lothian team will be working to review the Local Fire and Rescue Plan for the area, and are keen to speak with local people and organisations, including the third sector.
