The Scottish Alliance of Regional Equality Councils (SAREC), along with its constituent groups, are currently conducting the “Why Me?” Survey, and invite those from diverse equality backgrounds who have experienced hate crime to participate.
With this survey, SAREC aims to gather these experiences and learn about how the individuals feel they were supported. They would also like to know how what additional support those individuals feel the could have benefited from.
The survey will provide an evidence base to help regional equality councils across the country understand experiences of hate crime and how victims could be better supported.
