Falkirk Council and Falkirk Community Planning Partnership (CPP) have released further 2024 in-person dates for their “Safe & Together – Domestic Abuse Informed Model” training, with the next 4 day course beginning in May.
The Safe & Together Model is an internationally recognised suite of tools and interventions designed to help systems serving children and families become domestic abuse informed. Falkirk Council’s programme of multi-agency training has been designed to allow staff’s skills, knowledge, confidence and competence to increase when supporting families affected by domestic abuse.
Those who sign up for the training are expected to commit to attend the full 4 days training. Participants will then become part of Falkirk’s Community of Practice – Safe & Together, as a Safe & Together Mentor, and be able to deliver S&T Briefing Sessions to colleagues and staff groups.
