Forth Valley Sensory Centre
Saturday 8th August, 9.30am -3pm
Royal National Institute for the Blind is proud to announce the launch of the first Summer Jamboree.
It is hoped this will be an annual event to showcase talent from the blind and partially sighted community. The Jamboree is planned to be a cracking day out with fun, laughter, entertainment and lovely food for all the family.
On the bill will be local musicians, dancers, artists, stand-up comedians and other assortments for your delectation and delight. There will also be a series of stalls selling a variety of goods and food. Weather permitting the sensory garden will be open to soak up those Falkirk rays and relax in scenic Camelon.
RNIB will be on hand to offer welfare advice as well as demonstrate products from the resource centre based here in Camelon. Neil and Marc from the RNIB will be available to answer enquires if you or a family member is blind or partially sighted.
Café Tiki will be open for business providing a range of delicious wares to keep you fed and watered for the Jamboree’s duration. There will also be a selection of home baking available from the café and the stalls too.
The Jamboree will hopefully raise awareness of the work done at Forth Valley Sensory Centre and go towards future ventures in our community.
If you are interested in having a stall at the event, please email MBozza@rnib.org.uk or call: 01324 590888.
