Resourcing Scotland’s Heritage is a training programme designed to meet the needs of the heritage sector by providing the vital skills needed in fundraising from private sources.
The new programme is now available to view online at Resource Scotland’s Heritage website
Resourcing Scotland’s Heritage have events taking place across Scotland from May 2015 to March 2016. They have some full-day courses, evening sessions and weekend events – hopefully something to suit everyone. Travel bursaries are also available to apply for.
Events are now open for bookings in May and June:
* ‘Make it Happen’ – An introduction to fundraising from private sources for heritage organisations.
*’Planning to Progress’ – A day dedicated to developing a fundraising strategy for your organisation.
*’In Focus: Legacies’ – A session focused on developing a legacy campaign for your heritage group/organisation
Tickets for these events cost £25 for small to medium sized organisations and community organisations and £50 for larger charities and organisations.
Arts & Business Scotland, in support of Resourcing Scotland’s Heritage, is also delivering another ‘Crowdfunding for Arts & Heritage Organisations’ training event, providing an excellent addition to their new programme.
The event is taking place on Wednesday 27th May at GMAC Film in Glasgow. The course provides a ‘how-to’ guide to crowdfunding for organisations who already have a project in mind and are looking to find out more about the process. There are eight tickets available for heritage organisations.
The event is supported by the Creative Scotland Cultural Economy Fund, enabling Arts & Business Scotland to offer tickets at £50 each. For further information and bookings please visit Resource Scotland’s Heritage website
