Red Nose Day Community Cash grants of £500-£1,000 are available to small organisations in Scotland.
The grants aim to support work that has a beneficial impact on people’s lives who are excluded or disadvantaged through low income, rural or social isolation, age, disabilities, race, sexuality or gender. The grants are available to constituted voluntary and community groups; charities; social enterprises; co-operatives; faith organisations; and community interest companies.
Priority will be given to small locally based groups or organisations in areas of disadvantage that have a clear understanding of the needs of their community .
Examples of the type of activities that can be funded include; parent and toddler groups; dad and lads groups; youth groups; elderly groups; and community garden/in bloom groups; etc.
To be eligible organisations will need to have an annual income of less than £100,000.
The closing date for applications is 4pm on the 2nd March 2015.
