As the most senior employee, the Chief Executive Officer provides leadership, vision and passion in the delivery of Recyke-a-bike’s strategic and operational objectives.
You are responsible to the Recyke-a-bike Board for providing strategic and operational leadership to secure the achievement of the organisation’s vision, strategic plans, and impact and sustainability goals as set by the Recyke-a-bike Board of Trustees.
You will play a crucial role in nurturing strategic partnerships, maximising income generation and fundraising opportunities and shaping services and programmes to meet the charity’s objects, reflecting Recyke-a-bike’s mission and values whilst securing the long term financial stability of the organisation.
You will ensure that Recyke-a-bike develops its position and reputation as a sector leader in delivering services across Scotland.
You will ensure that the charity is managed effectively, demonstrating sound governance, financial and HR leadership and compliance with relevant legislation. It is important that you naturally lead with a style that reflects the charity’s values.
Specific Demands: Educated to degree level or with relevant equivalent experience, the ideal candidate will have the enthusiasm and commitment, together with the interpersonal skills, to lead the organisation successfully.
