The Scottish Community Development Centre (SCDC) is working in partnership with Falkirk Council to learn about community resilience as part of the “Rebooting Resilience” project.
Via an online survey, they are looking to hear from the local third sector, and its volunteers, to find out what works well regarding resilience, what has been challenging and explore any additional support needed to make it easier for volunteers.
The survey is entirely voluntary, and responses can be submitted anonymously; alternatively, people can give their name to be contacted about the project. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
The data will be held by SCDC, but shared with Falkirk Council and other community planning and response partners for the purpose of this project. Any comments will not be attributed to individuals, and people are encouraged to be open and share their experiences.
The responses will be reviewed and used to shape some events early in 2023, where Falkirk Council will share updates, and look to develop some tools, documents and plans that will make the essential roles the third sector supports in Falkirk’s communities easier, safer, and more connected.
