Quiet Waters is looking to recruit a new volunteer Chair to their Board of Trustees.

The Chair ensures the Board understands and is accountable for the Quiet Waters’ mission and vision. They will ensure trustees fulfil their duties to guarantee effective governance, and will provide leadership to the Board to work as a unit and support the employees and volunteers.

The Board Chair will also act as an ambassador and be the public face of Quiet Waters, assisted as appropriate by other trustees and employees.

The role requires 3 – 4 hours per week on average to the position, plus Board meetings and ambassadorial commitments. The position is appointed for a period of 3 years, extendable for a further 3 years with board approval.
