Public Health Scotland (PHS) is a new Scottish public health organisation.
PHS will provide national leadership for public health in Scotland from April 2020, and is tasked with providing and facilitating a whole-system approach to improving health and reducing health inequalities across Scotland.
In advance of their launch, PHS has developed a number of potential brand identities and draft statements, and organised a series of consultation days to gather feedback:
- Wednesday 29th May at the Alexander Fleming Education Centre in University Hospital Crosshouse (formerly Crosshouse Hospital), Kilmarnock Road, Kilmarnock, KA2 0BE
- Friday 31st May at the Chaplaincy Centre, Borders General Hospital, Huntlyburn, Melrose, TD6 9BS
- Thursday 6th June at the Suttie Centre, University of Aberdeen, Foresterhill Road, Foresterhill, Aberdeen, AB25 2ZD
- Tuesday 18th June at Larch House, Stoneyfield Business Park, Inverness, IV2 7PA.
If these dates are not suitable, there is also the opportunity to share your views at the NHS Scotland 2019 annual conference on Thursday 30th May and Friday 31st May, at the SEC Centre, Exhibition Way, Glasgow, G3 8YW.
Alternatively, feedback can also be submitted via an online video.
