The Practitioner Forum 2 day event on Tuesday 12th February and Wednesday 13th February, organised by the Falkirk Child Protection Committee, have been cancelled.
There are still spaces available at the event on Thursday 2nd May and Friday 3rd May at the Grangemouth Municipal Chambers, Bo’ness Road, Grangemouth, FK3 8AH, with registration starting from 9:10am both days.
The meeting will explore the issues faced in multi-agency working, and dispel myths around information sharing to build on good practice. The event is open all practitioners and managers working across the public, private and third sectors who support the wellbeing of all children and young people.
By the end of the 2 days, attendees should be able to:
- dispel confusion over what makes lawful and proportionate practice
- support professional judgement on a day to day basis when confronted with complex situations
- illustrate the importance of space and time to build relationships with children and families and the importance of being transparent in decision making and actions
