In January, the Poverty Alliance plans to launch a campaign to remove the benefit cap, which limits the total amount of income a person can receive from means-tested benefits to no more than £20,000. Ahead of this, they are keen to find out how people have been affected by the benefit cap and evidence its impacts.
They are conducting two surveys (linked below) on the impacts of the benefit cap. Both surveys should take around 5 – 10 minutes to complete, with the deadline for responses to both Tuesday 11th January 2022:
- Survey 1: Effects of the Benefit Cap (for organisations)
- open to any organisation in Scotland or across the rest of the UK who works with or has worked with anyone affected by the benefit cap
- Survey 2: Effects of the Benefit Cap (for individuals)
- open to anyone who is or who has been personally affected by the benefit cap
Responses will not be shared without permission.
To submit your response to either survey, please click on the linked survey titles above.
