Police Scotland’s Cybercrime Prevention team has released the September 2026 edition of Cyberbyte, their cybersecurity newsletter.
September’s edition focuses on supporting the resilience of children and young people while they are online, specifically through Cyber Defenders, a free resource produced by Europol. Cyber Defenders is centred around the Roblox platform, and is designed to teach children and young people essential online skills in a fun and safe online environment. Cyber Defenders has been designed for use by parents and carers, and within classroom environments, with a range of tools for teachers.
