After a 3 year hiatus, the People’s Projects has returned, and reopened for applications.
The People’s Projects gives the UK public a say in how more than £4 million in National Lottery funding is put to good use and awarded to community projects in their area. In Scotland, the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland is teaming up with the Sunday Mail to give at least 15 community projects the chance to apply for up to £70,000 in National Lottery funding.
They are looking for imaginative ideas from groups and organisations who have already done good work in their local community; they are especially keen to see projects which bring people and communities together.
The deadline for applications is 12pm on Friday 7th October; however, interested groups are urged to apply as soon as possible, as the programme may close sooner, dependant on the volume of applications.
