Please circulate the following opportunity across your networks and in particular to service users and carers.
The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) has been invited by the Cabinet Secretary for Scotland to lead on engagement work with people and communities across Scotland, to ensure remobilisation efforts across health and social care services have a core person-centred focus, post COVID-19.
The Cabinet Secretary would like topics to be discussed around experience, priorities, and future services. They are keen to hear from individuals, families and carers on their health and wellbeing experience of COVID-19, and how people want to access health and care support and services.
This is an opportunity to redesign services with people, and put what matters to them at the heart of design. The ALLIANCE wants to ensure lived experience and the perspectives of all people across Scotland are heard in this conversation.
As part of this work, the ALLIANCE has launched an online survey, and (in partnership with Healthcare Improvement Scotland) organised free online discussion events taking place NEXT WEEK:
- Thursday 22nd October, 10am – 11:30am
- Tuesday 27th October, 10 am – 11:30am
- Thursday 29th October 10 am – 11:30am
- Thursday 29th October 6pm – 7:30pm
To book your place at any event, please click on the relevant date above.
The ALLIANCE wants to hear from as many people as possible through these events and the survey, and have asked people to share widely within their own networks.
The deadline for survey responses is Wednesday 11th November.
