Penumbra is currently recruiting a Support Manager for their alcohol-related brain damage (ARBD) service.
The ARBD service is in the process of developing from primarily Supported Accommodation to become the ARBD assessment centre for the city. It aims to provide the expertise required for a full assessment, concentrating on supporting people to understand and better manage their diagnosis and access the most appropriate resources to support a good outcome.
The position is 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £30,534 – £32,909 per annum, based in Glasgow across 2 locations (Possilpark and the city centre).
Applicants should have an understanding of ARBD, experience of partnership working and of management, with an SVQ 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care, or an SVQ 4 in Leadership and Management for Care Services (or a willingness to achieve this within a specified period), or equivalents, as defined by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
The successful candidate will manage, support and supervise staff to ensure the needs of individuals are met and the service provided is run effectively.
